Project 52 Week 1: Resolution

Learn

In addition to the usual resolutions (diet, exercise, limit caffeine, eat less chocolate, take time for myself, etc.), my 2012 resolution is to LEARN ... a lot!  I began my photography studies in early 2011 and I think I came a long way, but I still have a quite a bit to learn.  By the end of this year, I want to be comfortable enough with my work to think about a business in this field.  I truly love it and can't wait to further my knowledge!  I can't think of a better way to get myself motivated than to join Darcy's Project 52!

IHF: Let Them Be Little

Playing in the puddles after a good rainstorm is tons of fun - - especially when you're two!

IHF: People's Choice

Goodbye Summer of 2011!  Thank you for the great memories.  I know that by next summer, this sweet face will have changed quite a bit.  If they could only stay little...

IHF: Back to School

Emily is hitting the books... hard!  First grade is a big change from Kindergarten!  Homework four nights a week and lots of 'creative' writing!  I remember from Katie's experience (now in 4th grade) that 1st grade homework was a bear.  It was probably the hardest homework year so far (but I'm sure that will change soon!!!).   The girls attend a year-round school so they've actually had some time to get into the swing of things.  And the cool thing about this is that we are getting ready to "track out" in a few weeks and go on vacation!  Wahoo!

Dog Bubbles

I don't think I've ever seen a dog who likes bubbles as much kids.  In fact, Maddie won't even let the kids pop any of them... she gets them all!  She is 3 1/2 and loves chasing bubbles as much as she did when she was a little pup.  I guess the kids will have to be a little faster to get them before Maddie does!
